About Mr. Alvarez

Carlos Alvarez embarked his martial arts journey in Cuba at the age of 10. After relocating to the United States at 13, Carlos trained in boxing for two years in Los Angeles. His passion for martial arts led him to study Okinawa Te Karate for nine years under Grand Master Gordon Doversola. Eventually, Carlos earned his Black Belt in American Kenpo under the renowned Grand Master Larry Tatum, and he has now achieved the distinguished rank of 5th-degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate.
